Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To evaluate antennas for handheld terminals for receiving digital terrestrial broadcasting, it is necessary to consider the influence of the presence of a human body on the performance of the antennas, including the position of fingers. This report deals with the influence of two-strip folded normal-mode helical antennas with balanced feeding system placed on a conducting body using the FDTD method and Morment Method simulations and the experiments. Also, a basic investigation for expanding the operating bandwidth of the antenna has been carried out using a variable capacitor diode at a feed point for impedance matching.
