Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Precise array calibration is nessesary to realize high-resolution capability of superresolution techniques such as the MUSIC algorithm. Many researches have been done for the calibration. For an array of single mode operetion, the calibration matrix becomes a constant scan independent matrix, however, it is difficult to estimate the matrix by the receiving array itself. It have been known that external incident waves of know DOA or numerical evaluation should be required to obtain the precise calibration matrix. In this report, we point out the problems of the conventional equivalent circuit representation of the array, and propose a new definition. In addition, we show that the precise calibration matrix can be obtained with S parameter measurement by the proposed definition. Numerical and experimental results are provided to show the validity of our method.
