Abstract(in English) | A novel method of DOA (Direction Of Arrival) estimation is proposed and simulated. The proposed method applies ESPAR antenna to conventional Doppler DOA finder, which estimates DOA based on the phase variation of Doppler frequency shift caused by switching an active parasitic element of the ESPAR antenna. Both simple structure and highly accurate estimation are obtained, serving small estimation error less than two thousandth degrees for 12-parasitic-element ESPAR antenna. In this paper, we propose a construction to employ ESPAR antenna for the conventional Doppler DOA finder, give principles of DOA estimation, and simulate the estimation properties. |
