Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a novel SDMA approach for IEEE Std 802.11a-based system, where an pre-FFT OFDM AAA is used at base station to form beam to effectively catch signal transmitted from each user. We first present a preamble subcarrier assignment to generate different preambles with good auto-and cross-correlation properties for different users, by which the base station can distinguish one user from other users and estimate the channel state information (CSI) for each user. Furthermore, an array weight control based on maximum signal-to-noise-and-interference power ratio (Max-SNIR) criterion is used to effectively catch the signal of each user in the proposed system. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated by computer simulation.
