Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper suggested a method with Frequency-Hopping (FH) assisted Orthogonal Frequency and Code Division Multiplexing (OFCDM) scheme to get enough frequency diversity effect while keeping scalability and flexibility of an OFCDM system in frequency-selective Rayleigh fading propagation environment for the system beyond IMT-2000. The achievable average packet error rate (PER) performance is investigated, and the influences of spreading factor and radio link conditions in multipath fading channel are considered. Simulation results show that the proposed FH-OFCDM scheme is capable of achieving a better PER performance than that of the conventional OFCDM scheme, when the selection of inadequate coding/decoding algorithms and/or interleaving depth are not sufficient for diversity offered.
