Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We consider a chip multiprocessor platform in order to enable mobile terminals to execute downloaded native applications on Linux. Its most important feature is the processor-level separation of the basic-function domain from the other extensible-function domains. The platform needs at least two preliminary technologies : XIP kernels to reduce total memory requirements ; policy separation, which can be independently applied to individual domains. Further, we discuss that this platform can enhance the coordination with home appliances.
