Abstract(in English) | Code division multiple access-frequency division duplex (CDMA/TDD) can make efficient utilization of bandwidths and satisfy various quality of service (QoS) requirements by adaptively allocating time slots according to the balance of uplink and downlink traffic. However, to enhance the QoS, it is important to consider interference between cells. In this paper, we propose a multi-cell scheduling method for QoS control. This method classifies multimedia traffic into three classes-Voice, Video, and Data. Each class is assigned different time slots, and transmitted sequentially. This method defines three types of assignment order : Voice-Video-Data, Video-Data-Voice, and Data-Voice-Video. When a type is assigned to a cell, the different types are assigned to neighboring cells. The proposed method reduces intercell interference of Data packets, which generally requires higher transmmison power to satisfy severe bit error requirement. It also improves QoS of Data class and other classes as well. In this paper, we verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme through computer simulations. |
