Abstract(in English) Health check of server is important and many methods have been developed. Previous methods are based on layer 3 or layer 4, however, and they are not suited for streaming applications. Meanwhile, previous methods only provide periodic monitoring function but streaming applications need continuous monitoring function. Furthermore, CDN operators had to watch streaming program and confirm the health check of quality by themselves. In this paper, we propose a new streaming quality evaluation method based on player's statistics information and present its evaluation results. It uses frame-rate information of pseudo-client and it fairly matches user-perceived quality.
