Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, it is indicated that time change of network traffic has self-similarity. And it is shown clearly that TCP which occupies most substantial traffic has contributed to formation of the self-similarity. However, it is not fully examined how influence the TCP characteristic to network traffic in the multimedia mobile radio communications. This report describes a traffic model for multimedia mobile radio communications taking into consideration of user movement and TCP. Computer simulation results show that TCP resending packet and user movement has a large impact on network traffic.
