Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes design and implementation of a battery-less wireless sensor network system. In order to drive both microprocessor and RF module on a sensor network node without battery power, we utilize combination of a super-capacitor and a electric-power-generator such as a solar cell. In consideration of practical application scenarios, we designed a communication mechanism for the battery-less wireless sensor network system, and implemented it on our original hardware. Our current prototype implementation basically succeeded to show a proof of concept of our system.
