Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although instability of inter-domain routing is a serious problem to ISP, it is difficult to identify locations of instability due to the fact that they are outside of ISP's ASes. In order to identify the location, we develop a method that is based on a single observation point while related works are based on multiple observation points. The benefit of our approach is to be independent from the existence of designated observation points. Our main insight is that if AS paths of several prefixes change at the same time, some instability has to be occurred on union of either original best paths or new best paths. In this paper, we describe the methodology and algorithm for identifying the location of instability. Furthermore, we show preliminary results where our method is applied to public routing sources. Finally, we discuss feasibility of our method.
