Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Remote control is considered as an attractive application to be realized over the Internet. The remote control requires stringent QoS guarantee such as low latency and a small packet loss probability. Therefore, a new network architecture to support the remote feedback control is needed. In this paper, we focus on the inverted pendulum for a typical unstable control plant, and propose a network architecture with packet management suitable for the network control. In order to the evaluate effectiveness of our method, we constructed the experimental system. and the results of experiment, we show that our experimental system achieves stability with larger delay than the maximum permissible delay with which controller was designed.
