Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a high-performance and cost-effective PC-cluster-based video stream server architecture that uses InfiniBand and its RDMA (remote direct memory access) function. Based on this architecture, we were able to develop an uncompressed HDTV video stream server that can handle up to ten 1.5-Gbps uncompressed HDTV streams and has the scalability of the system size. It lets us confirm the effectiveness of the architecture.
