Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we proposed a Context Extrapolation Method for presence services. This method gathers information from diverse sensors and extrapolates context information concealing the difference of sensor's deployed environments. By using this method, automatic presence publishing function can be easily developed. This function contributes not only saving the trouble of manipulating equipments, but also creating chances for gaining new kind of presence information of person who cannot manipulate equipments, objects, and animals. We verified and showed the usefulness of proposed method by adopting it to a case of traceability service development utilizing diverse sensors including normal and advanced RFIDs. |
