Abstract(in English) We are developing studies of multi-layer coordination technologies that can control optical paths dynamically and automatically using IP layer information. Optical pass-through technology, one of multi-layer coordination technologies, can establish and release optical paths by detecting significant changes of the amount of IP layer traffic. We have already proposed optical pass-through methods within a single OSPF area and across multiple ASes. In this paper, we propose a new method that can realize the inter-area optical pass-through. We also evaluate our proposed method compared with existing techniques, and clarify the applicability of our method.
