Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, broadband internet have spread widely and video streaming service have come into wide use. For more enhancing of service, improving streaming quality, varieties of contents and channels are required. On the other hand, multi-channel streaming courses packets loss by their own burstiness. In this paper, we have proposed a stream shaping algorithm for multi-channel streaming, which is effective in eliminating the burstiness. It controls output timing of each stream and output timing of mutual streams at the same time. We have implemented this shaping algorithm by software and confirmed the effectiveness of this algorithm for reducing buffer fullness of network nodes.
