Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We consider a method of connection admission control for regulated IP traffic which is based on deterministic QoS guarantees. Proposed method enhances the bandwidth efficiency by the resource recalculation using the buffer/bandwidth trade-off, while reducing the complexity of the calculation. The numerical results show that the admissible bandwidth gains are large, especially when either the difference of the burst sizes or the peak rates are large. Furthermore, they show the gains when the amount of the network resources are varied.
