Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A SR (Selective-Repeat) ARQ (Automatic Repeat reQuest) protocol, used to recover packet errors in satellite and terrestrial wireless communications, has a problem of large resequencing delay and bursty packet departure due to the resequencing function needed by the receiver. To solve the delay and bursts of packets the PFRS (Per Flow ReSequencing) scheme is proposed, where the resequencing is performed for each flow independently. This paper studies the implementation of the PFRS scheme ; it proposes the pointer scheme that identifies packets belonging to the same flow by the sequence number of the SR ARQ. This scheme has an advantage of no limitation on the number of flows over the SR ARQ.
