Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Several wavelength contention mitigation methodes were compared for a photonic network in which the nodes have only a limited number of optical transceivers and optical paths are set up and released dynamically. Simulations were carried out changing parameters such as number of wavelength, frequency of optical path request and optical path lifetime. Four methods : request history recording method, random wavelength selection method, compromizing method of these two, and no mitigation method were compared. It is clarified that the random method is advantageous with a sufficient number of wavelength, and the compromizing method is advantageous with a small number of wavelength.
