Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose RING (Reusing Infrastructure for Network Games) system for solving reusing problem of MOG (multiplayer online games). RING can switch the network architecture of MOG from client-server to peer-to-peer using packet capturing and peer-to-peer management infrastructure. We have implemented a prototype of RING and it has realized the conversion to peer-to-peer network architecture from QUAKE2 client-server mode without modifying the QUAKE2 binary. |
