Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an ODMRP-based multicast protocol avoiding unnecessary data forwarding with source distinction in mobile ad hoc networks. In the proposed protocol, each FG node is distinguished for each multicast source. Moreover, SG node for each multicast source transits to FG node when a link failure occurs to keep the reliability of communication. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol can reduce the number of data packets forwarded per data packet delivered without deteriorating the reliability of communication compared with the conventional protocols.
