Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, IEEE802.11 based wireless LANs are widely used. In order for those wireless LANs to provide efficient data transfer in environments where hidden terminals exist, various mechanisms, such as CSMA/CA, virtual carrier sense using RTS and CTS frames, receipt confirmation using ACK frames, and Data frame retransmission, are introduced which make wireless LANs more complex than wired LANs. We have been studying a scheme for analyzing performance of wireless LANs based on the monitoring of MAC and TCP layers. In this paper, we describe the analysis of multiple access behaviors to wireless LANs through some experiments of wireless LAN communication analysis using multiple monitor systems.
