Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the near future when people construct LAN in their homes, demands to temporarily establish connectivity between objects in two different networks will emerge. Currently, it is difficult to control accessibility for users, who don't have special knowledge about networks, because of the following two reasons. First, the current access control technologies lack user-friendly human interface. Second, the current access control technologies control accessibility by a network gateway. In view of this, this paper describes an access control technology "Teleshare". Teleshare is constructed by a human interface that utilizes telephone call as a metaphor, and an access control technology that can establish L3 (network layer) level connectivity between the objects without extending the network gateway. Teleshare enables the users to control the temporary accessibility easily.
