Abstract(in English) | IP-based IMT Network Platform (IP^2) has been proposed as the next generation mobile network architecture. Supporting the appropriate advanced mobility management service according to the movement characteristics, required QoS and various communication styles is one of the important requirements on the IP^2 architecture. We also have proposed the requirements and design policy for achieving advanced mobility management. In this paper, we propose advanced mobility management protocol on the IP^2 architecture. This paper uses multicast, high quality handover and moving network as the examples for the elemental technologies of advanced mobility management. |
