Abstract(in English) | Bandwidth Estimation is important for end users to measure network performance. Although several estimation techniques have been presented recently, measurement accuracy of the existing methods is degraded in wireless environment because transmission delay changes drastically. This paper shows the relationship between available bandwidth and variance of transmission delay, and proposes a method for accurately estimating available bandwidth in 802.11 wireless LAN environment. |
