Granularity of Spatio-Temporal Information for Spatio-Temporal Address

Abstract(in English) As a solution for addressing problems in mobile ad hoce networks, we have proposed "Spatio-Temporal Address : STA". STA uses Spatial (location) and Temporal (time) information (ST information) of each node as a seed of address. Some objects never exist in the same place and at the same time and their ST infromation is never same. Ideally, ST information never collapses and then STA never collapse, however, a length of STA is limited and the granularity of ST information is limited. In this paper, the influence on STA uniqueness by ST information granularity is discussed and STA update scheme is proposed and evaluated.
