Study of OSS architecture to efficient administrate for PON

Abstract(in English) It had been increasing the optical network services adopted single star (SS) system. This system has characteristic in which it has always kept the relationship as one on one between information of physical link and logical link. Therefore, the information of logical link is administrated as additional for physical link and this architecture could administrate efficiently for cancellation and change the reservation. However, the recent demand trend is increasing the optical network services adopted passive optical network (PON) system. and it means that will not be able to administrate same with SS system. So, we studied about efficient operation support system architecture for the system adopted PON. and we discuss about the needs for dividing LLM and PLM. Finally, we prove the effect of the proposed architecture through simulation, i.e., it can shorten the total administration step by 30% compared with the other architecture.
