Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a method for detecting the malicious alteration of content in a P2P-based content exchange community. We apply the Byzantine algorithm, which is often used to detect such behaviour in distributed computing systems, to our mechanism considering its fault tolerant nature. This paper also discusses a method to improve the response time of the Byzantine algorithm. Through evaluation of the improved method, its effectiveness is shown, and its application domains are clarified.
