| 抄録(和) | 大規模ネットワークでは,複数キャッシュサーバの連携を制御する分散キャッシュ方式が重要になる。しかし代表的な従来方式であるICPでは,キャッシュサーバでの連携処理の負荷がキャッシュサーバ台数の二乗に比例するため,大規模ネットワークでのシステム応答時間の悪化が問題となる。我々はアクセス網内に保持するコンテンツの情報を制御サーバで集中管理するDCCPを提案している。提案方式により,キャッシュサーバの負荷増加が抑えられ,システム応答時間を改善できる。プロトタイプ評価より,提案方式ではキャッシュサーバ台数に関らず,ユーザ要求に対するシステム応答時間が一定であることが分かった。更に,キャッシュサーバの連携動作がシステム応答時間に影響を与えないことを確認した。また大規模ネットワークヘのDCCPの適応可能性を評価し,50台のキャッシュサーバを配置したアクセス網にも適用可能であるとの見通しを得た。 |
| 抄録(英) | Distributed cache system composed of multiple cache servers is needed in a large-scale network. These servers provide the requested content by getting it from one of the other servers if they do not have the content. Typical conventional system, ICP, was not suitable in a network with a large number of servers, since the server sends query packets to all other servers to find the missing content. With this system, the response time to provide the content gets worse in proportion to the number of servers. To solve this, we adopted a centralized content management system, DCCP. In our system, the server needs to send a single query packet to the control server to find the missing content. Moreover, as the overhead to copy contents among cache servers is negligible, the response time is independent of the number of servers. As a result, our system can be deployed to system with fifty cache servers. |
