Abstract(in English) In order to connect the ad hoc network terminal with core network, the environment that a cellular network and an ad hoc network are connected is assumed. Location management of the ad hoc network terminal is necessary to make the incoming traffic arrived the terminal. However, there is a problem on which location registration is performed frequently. We defined the issues of the amount of location registration signals, and considered the amount of signals for every pattern of position registration area. We also proposed three kinds of methods for constituting the optimal location registration area, and considered in the viewpoint of the amount of signals, the area determination speed and processing load in each method.
