Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The classifier plays an important role in the system of detecting abnormal shadows in mammograms. Since such pattern recognition problem is really complexity, it is difficult to make the classifier with high detection accuracy level and high generalization ability. In this paper, we propose the method using ensemble leaming methods (e.g. Bagging method and Ada-Boosting method) with feature selection to solve the trade-off problem between accuracy and generalization. And we also show the classification results using real mammograms.
