Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we present a simultaneous segmentation method using three dimensional atlas of anatomy for multiple organs in three dimensional abdominal CT images. The proposed method deforms three dimensional atlas of anatomy to be aligned with 3D images and assigns the labels of the atlas to each voxel in the images. Here, the method was designed to be able to deal with registration problem between two images with large deformation. because shape and position of organs in an input 3D image are often greatly different from those of atlas. This paper shows experimental results of applying the proposed method to actual 3D CT image.
