Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Virtual endo-scope image is the three-dimensional surface image, constructed by multi-sliced CT/MRI images for the tuber organ such as stomach. The image is very useful for diagnosis and surgical support. However, the information volume is very large, then the manipulation such as dynamic viewing and navigation is relatively difficult under the network environment by internet and so on. In order to solve the problems, the surface images are compressed by adapting of Web 3D technique. We do simulation to decide the optimal organ color and brightness for diagnosis. As the application, diagnosis support, informed consent and medical education in the telemedicine will be studied.
