Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Respiratory-gated SPECT is effective for avoiding blur of a reconstructed image which is caused by the respiratory motion of the lung during the acquisition. However, if the acquisition time is not long enough, the reconstructed image becomes noisy. In order to prevent blur and noises, we propose a method that synthesizes each phase images after the motion correction of the lung. In this method, an objective function consisting of both the degree of similarity between a reference and a deformed image and the smoothness of deformation is defined and it is optimized using simulated annealing. Furthermore, expansion ratio is introduced for corresponding to the change of the density of tracer particles. As a result of experiments, the respiratory motion was corrected and less blurred and less noisy SPECT images were obtained.
