Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new concept of a driver assistance system, which performs the assistance by the cooperative driving between vehicles or drivers, and describes the evaluation of the information presentation for the assistance. It illustrates an example of the assistance with the visual information presentation and instruction for the driving operation instruction. The technologies necessary to the vehicles and the drivers include the inter-vehicle communications and the human-machine system to indicate the driver how to maneuver on the assistance. This paper also introduces the outline of the experiments of the cooperative driving assistance with a driving simulator.
