| 抄録(和) | 本研究は, Kohonenの自己組織化マップ(SOM)を用いたクラスタリングによる画像のカラー量子化とそれに基づく画像の領域分割について述べる.本研究では色彩情報をより有効に利用可能とするために, 2つの異なる距離尺度を使った改良型階層的SOMを用いてカラー量子化を行う新しい手法を提案する.これによりテクスチャ部分の大まかな領域分割及び陰影部分を考慮しての領域分割ができると期待される.また本研究ではカラー量子化の前処理として, フラクタル次元に基づいた無彩色部分の補正及び非等方的拡散を用いた平滑化処理も行うことで, 量子化により発生する不必要な小領域を減少させ安定かつ良好な量子化結果を得ることができる.領域分割実験において従来の手法との比較を行い本研究の有効性を検証する. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper presents the color quantization based on the clustering using a self-organizing map (SOM) and also presents the image segmentation. We propose the new color quantization method based on the modified version of the hierarchical SOM using the two kinds of distance measures in order to use color information effectively. It is expected to perform rough segmentation of the texture regions and segmentation considering the shade regions. The proposed method achieves the stable quantization results by reducing the unnecessary small regions using the pre-processing including the correction of achromatic regions based on a fractal dimension and the smoothing by an anisotropic diffusion. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in comparison with the conventional methods. |
