Abstract(in English) | Traffic flow theory, in particular, the theory describing the traffic congestion phenomena is dealt in this paper. The Time-Space Diagram, The accumulated traffic volume curve and flow-density-speed relationship are introduced. The definition of the word "Restricted Flow Condition" as a technical term is proposed. The theory of the phenomena occurred in the Restricted Flow Condition are also proposed systematically. The practical countermeasures for traffic congestion problems are introduced, and generalized law in those countermeasures are proposed, as techniques in road traffic engineering field. |
