| Abstract(in English) | Numerical evaluations of a Dial-a-Ride Bus system are discussed. Many requests for a Dial-a-Ride Bus System are generated at an on-line Poisson arrival on a network, and a real-time routing scheduler implementing a heuristic algorithm (insertion method) creates and updates the schedules of several vehicles. Computational experiences for many sets of requests and various numbers of buses are described, and evaluations of convenience of transportations by a Dial-a-Ride Bus in comparison to those by Route bus are shown |
