| Abstract(in English) | The role and activities of Advisory Committee on Safety, ACOS which deals with the general matters of the safety related works in International Electrotechnical Commission, IEC are herein introduced. For the details, the activities are explained, about the safety promotion for equipment and the installations, the workshop-holding with the subject of safety, the propulsion of harmonization of the safety standards, the coordination of the standard-making works by TCs/SCs and the cooperation with the safety works made by outside IEC like ISO and so on. |
