Development of High Reliability DC/DC Converter for Space Applications

Abstract(in English) Recently, demands for small size, high-efficiency and small size DC/DC converters have increased as space missions become more and more sophisticated. We developed a high-reliability DC/DC converter for space applications using high-reliability planar transformer, which solves the fault of conventional wire-wound transformer. We performed qualification tests on this planar transformer and got good results. Moreover, we carried out a production and evaluation of prototype models, and also got good results.
