Abstract(in English) To answer market demands for FTTH (Fiber To The Home), we developed the new field assembly single fiber connector fixing optical fiber drop or indoor cable. We confirmed that the insertion loss when using a plug was 0.24dB average, 0.49dB max. According to environmental tests based on Telcordia GR 1435, the loss increasing during the tests were within 0.1dB. In this report, we discuss the structure, feature, and various characteristics of this connector.
