Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We have developed Φ0.5mm fiber with UV curable coating for simplification for construction of Fiber To The Home(FTTH). The Φ0.5mm fibers improve discernibility and handling property, and can be easily converted to the conventional Φ0.25mm colored fiber using commercial stripping tool. The Φ0.5mm fibers have the merit of using various connecting elements and tools for conventional optical fibers. |
