| 抄録(和) | 分散補償ファイバ(DCF : Dispersion Compensating Fiber)にラマン増幅を適用したDCFラマン増幅器は利得一定制御(AGC : Auto Gain Control)が必要となる。特にDCFラマン増幅器を波長多重(WDM : Wavelength Division Multiplexing)通信システムに適用する場合は急峻な信号波長数の変化に対応するため、AGCに高速性が要求される。そこで本研究ではDCFラマン増幅器の高速AGC方式を提案する。DCFラマン増幅器では信号光がDCFを伝搬するのに数十μsかかる。そのため、入力・出力信号光パワーのモニタタイミングにも数十μsずれが生じ、高速AGC実現の課題となる。本研究ではCPUを実装した高速AGC回路を作製し、入力・出力信号光パワーのモニタタイミングをソフトウェア上で調整することによってこの問題を解決した。 |
| 抄録(英) | Dispersion compensating fiber (DCF) modules using Raman amplification need an automatic gain control (AGC) scheme. The number of channels input into a DCF module is suddenly changed in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) systems. Especially in such systems, high-speed is required for the AGC scheme in order to adapt suddenly change. In this Letter, we propose a high-speed AGC scheme for DCF-Raman amplifiers. It takes tens of microseconds so that signals transmit DCF in the DCF-Raman amplifiers. To realize a high-speed AGC scheme, it is necessary to match timings in which output power and input power are monitored. We developed a high-speed digital AGC circuit with CPU to solve the problem, and realize a high-speed AGC scheme with adjusting monitoring timings on software. |
