Abstract(in English) | Confinement loss including bending effects for holey fibers was calculated using numerical simulator, Fiber Designer, which can flexibly be applicable to the fiber structures. The confinement loss was estimated by imaginary part of complex eigenvalues of the wave equation. The obtained results well agreed with the reported values. |
