Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Emissions from a 1-cm aperture laser diode bar were collimated by an optical system, through which the emissions were divided into several beams in slow axis and the spatial intensity distributions of each beam unit were rotated 90° around those optical axes. Transforming a series arrangement of emitters into a parallel arrangement makes it possible to place a collimating lens for slow axis at position far from emitters. Collimated beams were focused to a small spot. Coupling of emissions from high power laser diodes to optical fibers is referred.
