Abstract(in English) Although many demonstrations and numerical studies have been reported to date regarding the characteristics of Raman crosstalk in WDM CATV systems, there has been no report studying the detailed characteristics of Raman crosstalk in EDFA-based multi-repeater optical fiber transmission systems, to our best knowledge. This paper presents the experimental results on frequency response of Raman crosstalk in 150km-long SMF-based EDFA-repeatered transmission, with and without dispersion compensation at the end of each repeater span.
