Abstract(in English) We have proposed a multi-channel wireless LAN distributed antenna system using Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) techniques. We discussed 4-channel transmission characteristics of the system. The optical modulation index that met the maximum dynamic range of the uplink was investigated. Moreover, to clarify the effects of interferences, the transmission characteristics when noise and intermodulation distortions were added to wireless LAN signal (IEEE802.11a/b/g) were evaluated. The results showed that the system should be designed based on not only the average level of interferences but also the amplitude distribution for 11b signal, where as the system may be designed based only on the average level of interferences for 11a/g. Finally, we clarified the relation among the transmission parameters and the desired cell size by designing 4-channel Wireless LAN distributed antenna system.
