Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Blind Source Separation(BSS) is to separate independent sources from given mixed signals where the mixing process is unknown. Frequency domain ICA using method based on ICA is effective method for convolutive mixtures. However, this method is unsuitable to local signal. In this paper, we introduce a method for blind source separation algorithm using wavelet transform. The improvement of the separation performance is based on a new methodology to estimate separation matrices. Results of computer simulation are shown for artificially controlled data.
