Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The Honda FCX, the world first released fuel cell vehicle, employs an electric double-layer capacitor energy storage system, which contributes to the improvement of energy efficiency and acceleration performance. In this paper, characteristic features of the capacitor energy storage system developed by Honda will be presented. The merit of our capacitor system in comparison with other energy storage devices and its compatibility with fuel cell vehicle will be discussed. |
