Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The autonomy of syntactic parsing among other aspects in sentence processing, phonological/orthographic processing or lexical/semantic processing for instances, has been one of the central research questions these years. This paper provides a new set of data which suggests the existence of autonomous syntactic parsing module by conducting an experiment measuring syntactic priming effects in sentence processing. Since syntactic priming effects are reported only in sentence production or recall processes in previous researches, this is the first report of existence of such effects in sentence processing.
